This sale is for one new 20" long shaft lower unit for Mercury and Mariner outboard motors.
Mercury part number: 1623-6053A15
This lower unit has a chunk broken off the skeg and is being discounted.
This is an original Mercury part, not aftermarket.  It is brand new without the box.  There are some scratches and scuffs in the paint from being moved around in storage.
The shaft is 22 3/8" long measured from the housing at the base of the water pump to the tip.
Drive Shaft has 8 Splines.
Prop Shaft has 15 splines.
It should fit some 90 and 115 Hp 6 cylinder Mercury and Mariner outboards from 1978 to 1987.
