This disc cutter will cut circles out of sheet metal. It will cut the same sizes every time. It comes with 10 punches, steel disc cutting block, and a rubber base to hold everything. The Disc cutter set has a lever-style separating device, so it will hold sheet metal more securely while you cut it. This disc cutter set also has the sizes in inches engraved on it. And disc cutter on top of a rubber bench block or pad use for support and protect your work surface.
HOW TO USE:
Use a disc cutter on top of a rubber bench block or pad for support. Use a cutting lubricant to lubricate the cutting edges of the punch. It is advisable to use suitable mallet, never a nail driving hammer. Always support the opposite side of the cutter with a sheet of the same diameter metal that you are cutting; this will help keep the upper and lower parts of the disc cutter in alignment and help minimize material sticking in the disc cutter.
You can cut up to 18 gauge soft sheet metal so do not exceed this limit.
It can be used on sheet metal like brass, copper, silver, and gold.
Rubber base which is provided it may tight to fit disc so use brass hammer or apply pressure on it.

To prevent rust, keep your disc cutter well-lubricated between uses, and always be sure to store it in a dry location.
