    Description
    The Honeywell L3000-SIA is a LYNX Plus wireless alarm control panel that has all the same great features of the regular Honeywell L3000 LYNX Plus, but also has programming settings that make it CP-01 compliant. An alarm control panel that is CP-01 compliant meets the standards defined in the ANSI/SIA CP-01 standards document. Many cities and states require CP-01 compliant alarm control panels with every new alarm installation and some even require an existing alarm control panel to be upgraded to a CP-01 version when the existing system causes frequent false alarms. The Security Industry Association (SIA) published the ANSI/SIA CP-01 document to provide a guide to all alarm control panel manufacturers. A control panel manufactured with the CP-01 standards as a guide will result in a greatly reduced number of false alarms when compared to the same alarm control panel manufactured without regard to the CP-01 standards.
