Thick 1" Aluminum mold frame for jewelry mold making, is a single cavity mold frame measuring 1-7/8" x 2-7/8" x 1" thick for holding uncured rubber and model when vulcanizing.
This frame is
machined from a solid extruded aluminum bar
, making it impossible to distort with excessive use, not like other frames that are cast or made from aluminum tubing which will distort or crack.
The cavity opening is made to accept all standard Pre-Cut mold rubber that is available in the market.
NOTE: To insure the proper flow and fill of rubber into the model, it is suggested that you pack one additional thickness of rubber in frame... this 1" mold frame, which will take Eight thicknesses of 1/8" rubber, should be packed with nine (One additional layer).
