Vintage 1935 WALT DISNEY 'THE WISE LITTLE HEN' BOOK w/ dust jacket

Vintage Walt Disney Enterprises 1935 Children's Book, published by Whitman Publishing Company, Racine, Wisconsin. Apparently, this is the first time that Donald Duck was shown in a Disney book. It has the original dust jacket, which has some small tears and folds, but because it has always been on the book, the hard front and back cover of the book are in very good condition (see photos for condition
- the first two photos show the front and back of the book without the dust jacket, and the third photo shows the front of the book with the dust jacket
).
There are both color and black & white illustrations in the book.
Overall, there is minor shelf and handling wear, showing only minor signs of use. There is 'tanning' aging on the edges of the pages (again, see photos for condition), but overall the book is in very good condition. There is only one minor tear at the bottom of one page. The book is unpaginated. There are no missing pages. This book has been in my family ever since it was first purchased. The book is approx 10" wide and 8 1/2" high. Shipped with USPS Priority Mail.
