    For your consideration is a fine sterling Open Salt by Whiting, circa 1870’s. Neat Bird on branch handles, and machine turned decorated bands. The Piece is in very good age appropriate condition (light wear, small ding - see photo #6). Monogrammed “A”. Marked: Whiting’s Hallmark of a Lion with it’s paw on a W; “STERLING 118”. Height: 2 1/4 Inches. Handle to Handle Width: 3 3/4 Inches. Diameter of opening: 2 1/16 Inches. Weight: 98 Grams. Pa Buyers must pay 6% state sales tax unless tax exempt.
