    Description

    Yamaha genuine F200 F225 3.3L lower unit. Fits all Yamaha 4 stroke V6 200- 225 hp applications. Standard rotation.
    There seems to be a lot of confusion over these lowers. Let me help! This lower fits the 3.3 L 200 and 225, not the new XB motor that is an inline 4 and has different lower. The confusion comes in the 3.3 L 250. That is a different lower in that it has an extra thrust bearing in the driveshaft and has a cooling water tube. People run this lower in the 3.3 250 all the time but technically it is not correct. Same gear set and everything else other than that extra bearing I mentioned. You know by the water tube or lack thereof which one you have. Now for the low water pickup. Again, exactly the same as the non low water pickup 3.3L 250 but the difference there is the low water pickup (that is the extra water scoop inlet in the front). Hope this helps.....
    This is a 25 inch shaft model. If you don't know your shaft length, look at the model number. The second letter denotes the shaft length. S is 15", L is 20", X is 25" and U is 30." If in doubt measure length of midsection, that is bottom of cowling to where lower unit bolts up. That is where the shaft is located.....So a F150TLR would be a L, long shaft 20"....
    This lower unit is in excellent condition. As a Yamaha 5 star technician, all lower units are opened up and inspected, components are checked that they are in factory specification. Anything out of spec is replaced and all lower units are re-sealed completely, pressure tested, and, if necessary, shimmed and backlash checked..... This lower unit is in perfect factory condition and ready for the water….
